Bananas Birthday Thursday is the twenty-fifth episode of Series 1 of Bananas in Pyjamas aired on 21st August 1992.
Plot[]
The bananas are preparing decorations for the party they want to throw. They make a paper chain of Teddies and try to hang it on the wall. They have a bit of trouble with this, putting it back to front and upside down before finally getting it right. They stick it up and leave for the Teddies with invitations.
Meanwhile, the Teddies are almost done with their preparations for their surprise party for the Bananas. Morgan completes making yellow jelly and there is a big pile of balloons on the floor. The bananas arrive and call to the Teddies, who quickly hide. The bananas push their invitation under the door and leave. The Teddies are naturally dismayed to read the invitation.
The Bananas are trying out "Pin the Tail on the Donkey". B1 teaches B2 how to play. B2 pins it on the chin. Meanwhile, the Teddies practise musical statues in the park. They decide to still run their party the next day.
